This is the official COPA retro shirt from Juventus with number 9 on the back. This shirt is based on the shirt from the 1984-85 season. This Juventus retro shirt features the signature black and white vertical stripes. This shirt is marked by the sponsor ARISTON on the chest. Ariston was the main sponsor of the Oude Dame between 1979-1989. In addition, the shirt has a white polo collar and a deep v-neck. The piping is also white. On the left chest the colors of Italy and above it 2 champion stars. The club was allowed to wear this after the 1983-1984 season when Juventus won the Serie A 20 times.
In the 1976-77 season, Juventus reached the final of the European Cup I. This final was overshadowed by the Heysel drama. Juventus beat Liverpool 1-0 in Brussels. Platini converted a penalty in the 58th minute. Other well-known players from coach Trapattoni's team were Boniek, Rossi and Tardelli. Later that year in 1985, Juventus would also win the Club Team World Cup, beating Argentinos Juniors on penalties.
