The 1934 FIFA World Cup was the second edition and was held in Italy. The tournament lasted two weeks, from Sunday 27 May to Sunday 10 June. A total of 16 countries took part in the tournament and played football in 8 different host cities. Italy won the World Cup in their own country by beating Czechoslovakia 2-1 in the final. For a long time it remained 0–0, but deep in the second half Czechoslovakia managed to open the score. Shortly afterwards, the equalizer followed, which meant that for the first time in the otherwise short World Cup history, an extension was needed to decide the title fight. Angelo Schiavio managed to give his country the lead at the start of extra time. Watched by dictator Benito Mussolini, Italy held on to this lead to become world champions for the first time.
The FIFA Classics World Cup collection from COPA Football consists of several t-shirts, casual socks and sock box sets which feature the official World Cup posters, emblems and mascots from various World Cup football.
