The tournament started on July 11 and the final was on July 30 and the matches were played in eight different stadiums in England. The t-shirt has a print with information about the World Cup. The t-shirt is white and has a round neck. The t-shirt has a normal fit. The print was designed by James Campbell Taylor under the project 'From Stadio to Studio'. The design shows a historic moment from the history of football on a film poster. Material: 100% cotton.

The 1966 World Cup was the eighth tournament between the national men's teams of countries affiliated with FIFA. The final of the 1966 World Cup was between West Germany and host country England. The final was won by England 4-2. After 90 minutes of football the score was 2-2 and extra time had to provide the decision. In extra time, Geoff Hurst scored two goals. His first goal is still controversial today. Hurst kicked the ball against the underside of the crossbar and the ball bounced to the ground. The referee did not see it, but the linesman allowed the goal. The goal went down in history as the 'Wembley Goal'.
